Women Without Men

Against the tumultuous backdrop of Iran's 1953 CIA-backed coup d'état, the destinies of four women converge in a beautiful orchard where they find independence, solace and companionship.

Coming from fundamentally different backgrounds, the four women’s fates become interwoven to allow them to cope with male dominated society. This is a sharp, enigmatic and unapologetically feminist story of love and hope in times of national despair.
