The Wave

The seasoned geologist Kristian and his family are about to depart from the small picturesque town of Geirander in the mountains above a remote fjord. His worst nightmare comes true when the equipment signals a massive landslide that will create a catastrophic tsunami. Once the rocks start falling, the population have just 10 minutes to flee to higher ground or die. Kristian gets caught in the middle of it and a race against time begins. Applying the techniques of American disaster films, The Wave is set amidst the spectacular and harsh Nordic scenery.
