Sweet Dreams

A sugar plantation somewhere in the Dutch East Indies. After the sudden death of the owner, Jan, his wife Agathe advocates for the return of son Cornelius from Europe to take over the family business. But Siti, a native maid who gave birth to Jan's illegitimate son, opposes this. A satire in the style of Ruben Östlund's pictures from colonial times.
