Queen Kelly

From the Royal Palace to the clutches of the African underworld! For the first time a simple orphan girl, Patricia Kelly, gets struck by good fortune and the smile of a young aristocrat. The romance in the palace turns into a nightmare due to female jealousy, family intrigue and male weakness. Classic drama with a spectacular set and brilliant performances. The unexpected outcome was so challenging for Hollywood producers that the rebellious Erich von Stroheim got no other directorial opportunity in the dream factory.
