After the Carnation Revolution in April 1974, the world's most important photographers and filmmakers travelled to Portugal to capture freedom and the revolutionary process. Personalities such as Sebastião Salgado, Glauber Rocha, Robert Kramer, Dominique Issermann, Santiago Álvarez, Pea Holmquist and Jean Gaumy, among others, took their cameras and photographed or filmed the people and events of this extraordinary period.

The screening is part of the Lusofest Festival - Days of Culture of the Portuguese-speaking Countries. The screening of the films was made in collaboration with Masaryk University and the Portuguese Camões Centre.
