Her Drunken Diary

The new feature film The Alcoholic's Notebook tells the dramatic story of a young woman struggling with alcohol addiction. The protagonist (though she often doesn't come across as a heroine) is a young mother who decides not to give up, enter treatment and fight her demon and her family. How hard is it to admit to a drinking problem? Why isn't even a young child a barrier to addiction? Where do you get the strength to get treatment and what comes after? These and many other questions are answered in this authentic and honest filmic account of a recovering alcoholic.
