Fantastic Planet

Having devoted their lives to meditation completely, the gargantuan blue-hued humanoids called Draags are now planet Ygam's predominant species. As intellectual creatures of an elevated state of existence, the oppressive Draags keep the human race of the Oms under their heavy thumb, domesticating them for their use as servants or pets. Under those circumstances, when Terr, a rebellious orphaned Om, escapes captivity after stealing his masters' knowledge, the entire planet's social equilibrium will be disturbed, as the feral Om colonies are prepared to die for their freedom. Before long, war breaks out, against the backdrop of systematic and remorseless extermination that threatens the future of both races. For their own sake, are the two species willing to learn how to coexist?
