Afire

Leon and Felix spend the hot, dry summer at a remote holiday home close to the Baltic coast. Undisturbed and alone, the two want to spend the next few weeks there. Leon wants to finish his novel manuscript. But the peace is disturbed by Nadja, who also lives in the holiday home, and Devid, whom Nadja takes home with her. Leon is visibly annoyed because an important visit from is publisher is approaching and abstains from joint activities. Subsequently, their feelings get out of control, as does the approaching forest fire. The publisher’s visit does not go as planned and events come to a head. While the publisher is hospitalised due to cancer, Felix and Devid are killed in the forest fire.
