Just an ordinary autistic film (for real!) tells a story of ordinary teenage autists. This “probe” into the private life and the inner world of autists was filmed by Miroslav Janek in order to not present the autistic perception as evil and ugly medial disorder (which is not true), but as a way of seeing the world which is out-of-synch with the fast and furious rhythm of life we live today. It is perhaps unnecessary to add to what has been said above that Miroslav Janek is not just an ordinary filmmaker, but that he is also a unique persona. Originally a film amateur (Yes! He started in the wild and underground 1970s!), after his return from emigration he situated himself amongst the top Czech documentary-makers who grew out of conventions.
