Future Gate is the largest festival of science fiction films and culture in the Eastern Europe. The festival has created a strong audience base not only among film lovers but also among fans of science and future technologies. The festival is regularly visited by thousands of people.
Every year the festival brings rare guests from abroad as well as interesting personalities from the world of film and science. Its aim is not only to entertain the audience, but also to point our some important topics and give audience an original experience of meeting with the film makers and educate them in lectures on modern technologies, science and literature. The film program presents the latest titles, accompanied by legends of the genre, documents and serial marathons.
The 7th annual of the festival is entitled “Cyber revolution” and is devoted to the question of freedom of the modern man. The theme is inspired by current situation in some countries where citizens are restricted by state and technologies are misused to control people.
